Equine Facilitated Learning is a burgeoning field. I have acquired an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning certificate from PATH International. Through this program, I learned about equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT), and was able to put knowledge into practice by volunteering at a nearby PATH certified therapeutic riding center. I was able to observe the healing magic between horse and client. I assisted with a 4 year old client ridden with anxieties. The more that he connected with the horse, the more joy he experienced. He would break into hilarious laughter every time his horse trotted. This was a life-changing moment...which catapulted me into the world of Equine Facilitated Learning.
Currently, I am serving as Equine Specialist in various capacities, partnering with a horse coach and a mental health professional to work with clients. It brings me joy and contentment to see people healed emotionally by the power of a horse.

I have had a love relationship with horses since I was 12. Now that I am well into adulthood, my relationship with horses has changed. I now understand the healing power of horses and their ability to reflect back our emotions. This site is devoted to discovery of all that equines bring to humans. It is about the partnership between humans and horses. I am also discovering the power of essential oils as they relate to healing in both humans and animals. I will share  essential oil recipes as i discover them. You will also be able to link to my Melaleucca account, where you can purchase pure grade essential oils for you and your horses.
